Tiki
History
Somewhere
in the South Pacific, not on any map, lies Tiki Island, home of Tikiworks.
Founders Pete and Steve, after floundering at sea, found themselves
washed up on the peaceful shores of this tropical paradise.
Luckily
for them, they packed for more than a three hour tour (a
three hour tour) and the island showed signs of civilization
in the form of friendly natives and high-speed internet access.
Seeing
an opportunity to help others, as well as finding a way to get rescued,
Pete and Steve decided to start a company devoted to web site hosting
and design. The natives, while unfamiliar with web design, proceeded
to help them build huts to hold their servers and workstations, as well
as devising an innovative power source made entirely from coconuts.
Thus
Tikiworks was born and thrives to this day, always seeking rescue, but
happy to help others join them on their little island in the wide internet
sea.
